I recall about 9 years ago, I was invited to speak about my spiritual journey to a meet up group. I had just made up a batch of my special egg shells and brought some to the home that I was to speak at. I gave the host a small container of the shells. She motioned the chair she wanted me to sit in, it was in front of corner space. After I sat down, she began going to each corner of the room and dropping a few eggshells. When she got to my corner, as soon as she dropped the eggshells, I could feel a new energy all around me. I felt it on a physical level as the energy traveled up my spine.
All you will need is a food processor and a mortar & pestle. As for magical tools you will need:
Dragon's Blood: Known as a powerhouse against negativity, and for its ability to increase the strength of your magical creations. It is perfect for clearing energies!
Black Salt: Provides a powerful protecting agent for you home and work environment. Also works to keep unwanted people out of one's life.
Mayan Copal: A resin that cleanses, protects & renews.
Essential Oils: Frankincense, Dragon's Blood and Lavender
Once you have all your supplies gathered up, you will put all the eggshells in the food processor and grind them into itsy bitsy pieces. The smell is awful, but that issue will be fixed in the end product. After you grind the eggshells, place them in a bowl.
Then you will take a pinch of the Dragon's Blood and Mayan Copal, place it in the mortar, crush it into a powder with the pestle. Pour the powders into the bowl with the eggshells. Add a pinch of the Black Salt.
Use 3drops of the Dragon's Blood, 1 drop of Frankincense, and 1 drop of the lavender essential oil into the shell mixture. Blend the mix very well. Place your mixture in a jar with a good sealer and sprinkle a little pinch around windows, door entry and corners when needed.

When I discovered that I was born as a witch, it was a little confusing. Hollywood has depicted witches to be evil and casting bad spells on people. I thought I was suppose to be standing over a cauldron with a big stirring stick and creating some kind of weird magic. I had it all wrong, as many people do. As a matter of fact, the first vision that I had in regards to my witchy discovery, I saw a huge purple full moon that with a silhouette of a witch flying over the moon on a broomstick in her black hat and long black dress. At that moment I heard my spirit guide say to me, "This is what you are, but that is not what you are. That is how society sees you." When I saw this, I began to cry. I had recently left an unhappy marriage of thirteen years. Before and during my marriage, my husband and I had been Bible thumping, Jesus pushing Christians. But towards the last year of our marriage, I recall sitting in our living room, watching t.v. and I looked over at my husband, my inner voice said to me, "There is something you are suppose to be doing, whatever it is, it does not include that man." So when I heard my spirit guide show me what I needed to see, I understand loud and clear.
But a witch? Just what did that mean? I have to say I was very confused and did not even know where to start. I was fifty years old and wondered how this old dog was going to learn new tricks. It took a long time, but I embraced my identity as a witch on my own terms. What I mean by that is I had to stay true to myself and my beliefs. I learned to take God out of the church box and open myself to endless possibilities.
Witches are healers, we are here to help people. Yes, we create and cast spells using the earthly tools such as: plants, flowers, crystals, candles, herbs and many other elements of the earth. The rituals that are performed in the Catholic church, where did those rituals come from? Witches. It did not take long for me to understand that the churches are about teaching fear in order to have control. Not to mention, there are a lot of politics involved in all of that to. I recall telling a friend, shortly after my discovery, that I felt like I had wasted a lot of my life being in the church for so long." My friend told me that I needed to be in the church so that I could see and understand how things are.
When I say that I stay true to myself and beliefs, that means that I hold onto some of the values that I learned through Christianity, I just left the legalism and politics behind. Oh yeah, Jesus and I are very tight still, I talk to Him all the time and acknowledge Him and many others as an Ascended Master. Believe it or not, I still read the Bible. The point I am making here is that everybody has their own spiritual path to follow. My path my not be everybody's cup of tea, and that is okay, it is not meant to be. There are those that follow a path that I may not understand. That is okay, it is not my path to follow. However, my job as a witch, is to help those that come to me to follow their heart and stay true to themselves. It is when we learn to stay true to ourselves, we learn how to stand in our own power.
I encourage anyone who is led to follow the path of a witch, to embrace it with a fearless truth to yourself.
I have included some books from Amazon as suggestions for those that are interested in this subject. Happy Reading!
